Was there no access from below that would have been less intrusive to run this line?

We used leverage (20% to 25% down) to scale with sufficient reserves.The past two years have been hard on us personally due to myriad of reasons 1) higher turnover costs in our area possibly related to COVID and local market dynamics 2) bad section 8 tenant (not allowing anymore for our homes) --> eviction and costly repair  3) unexpected high cost repairs on few properties  - water intrusion needing french drain, plugged old sewer line needing new sewer line,  fallen tree that pulled electrical cable that pulled out the wall electrical panel.   

(unless it was really great and cheap, even, then maybe)Have them send the pre-screening information you need via email or some other less intrusive/difficult manner.

Rent control is a strong indicator of an intrusive government.

The next door neighbor told me he knew the previous owner told them that there was water intrusion to that area.

If you put yourself in the shoes of the person answering the phone, it's not only annoying to get a call from a stranger but intrusive.

The phone calls are intrusive.

I was thinking a personal letter would be a little less intrusive and give the option for them to call me instead of feeling on the spot with a lunch or call out of the gates.
