Hi Marc -It is generally acceptable to summarize your activities in your log.

We put in an offer yesterday that was accepted so hopefully this is a good step in the right direction. 

For example, I mention that every adult must pay a $30 application fee, pass my credit/criminal background, make a combined income of 3x the rent, and whether or not the property accepts pets.

I would see if they would accept your prior offer and just get the deal closed.
