Eastmoor and whitehall are good too because of newer home ages after 1940 where you don't have knob and tube wiring and some of the other issues. don't be afraid to look at new construction or ground up new builds closer to downtown. rentals are overpriced in these areas but build costs are low and it can be a good strategy

I’ve currently got a 3/3 and generally there’s 2 of us living here but when my daughter and family come visit, 5-6 people having even more than 3 bathrooms would be a plus.

Short term my credit score did take a hit, but once the promotional transfers were paid off, my score jumped higher than it was before.These days, the "pure" zero percent transfers don't seem to be around anymore as they typically charge a 3-5% balance transfer fee as part of the promotion, but this is still better than current HELOC rates.
