I am humble but I also am very assertive in ways that don't allow me to be bossed around.

@Donald Longo , I wish I was more assertive starting out at 23 too (I didn't make a move until about 31), so it's great you are thinking ahead.

Maybe they are no assertive enough. 

You must assert that you make the rules, and they are not up for negotiation, especially after the fact.

Also, I disagree with the assertion that the only way for blue collar to build wealth is through homes.

The trust and the LLC are the owner of the asset/real estate, so even in the scenario that they guess, they guess wrong.If you have a small investing portfolio and limited personal asserts, then you don't need to dive into a complex asset protection strategy - just operate your investments as best as you can.

Yes, the money would pass through the seller's hands, metaphorically speaking, but the funds would not originate with the seller.In your reply to @tim puffer, you assert that "buying/selling a property is not rocket science."  

Do remember that a lot of county employees are very skeptical of these facts, and will often be quite hostile and rude to you when you assert your rights to request and inspect public records.

But I say that with the assertion that I've considered staging several of mine and haven't done it and don't feel it kept me from getting the top of the market on any of those occasions.
