CRIME is a big one.The percentage of non-violent to violent infractions and if crime is increasing or decreasing in the immediate area.Intermodal transportation study is another and the future land use map.This will give you an idea of where they are today and what they have planned for the area in the future and how the city and county will be allocating their resources to develop certain areas.Much more items than this but it's been a long day and my brain is out of fuel........ :)

Typically it would be an attractive offer (usually over retail) with low or no interest owner financing over 10-20 yearsI'm in the beginning marketing stage and I just had 1000 postcards go out targeting high equity and free and clear owners in Boston (specifically Allston, Brighton, Cambridge and Somerville).

This will tell you whats hot as the cash buyers are usually investors/rehabbers.If you are picking up rental property for you to buy and hold, nothing high end and have a good public transportation line running through it.

I road bike as well, and pass at least 3 in the quick 20 mile loop I do.Plymouth is about an hour north of Concord, or 1.5 hours north of Manchester.Contractor that I will be working with has a good number on his crew and will send them as far north as where I am, all the way down toward Boston.
