whereas buying an apartment with say 20 units is just one loan and 20 doors.there are some companies that sell 2 flats and 4 flats with the idea that your conventional mortgage slots are not taken up by one door but each loan is taken up with multiple doors.. and if your scaling its doors your after generally speaking

I'd like to take out the mortgage under my name because I have residential fannie mae slots open on my credit (haven't hit 10 properties yet), and the interest rates are lower.

That way you have straight cash flow from the 1 paid-off home and have freed-up one slot so-to-speak so you can purchase another property under your personal name and not go the commercial loan route. 

But you should be able to refi a chunk of those into a larger commercial loan, freeing up your 10 slots again.You could also go the private money route, for example, offering friends and family 6-10%.

4) Electrical - Main Panel size/number of breaker slots/wire size/grounded?

@Ryan Thomas I got a breakdown of expenses from the current owner and just submitted those in the appropriate slots.

I would like to continue obtaining FNMA financing, so the question is this:Can I transfer any of the these properties into an LLC (that I would need to create), in order to free-up more slots for additional FNMA financing?
