I am afraid that over time my grandparents will have to sell bigger properties, like the ones I grew up deer hunting on which are very sentimental to me, and I will have to watch my childhood be sold to some big-wig from the nearest metroplex.

They do their best to promote your businesses side of things, but i am guessing, like so many things, lobbyists can only do so much when public sentiment is strong like it is for anti landlord sentiment.

The more region-specific the better.I would echo the sentiments others have expressed regarding allowing users to contribute their own reviews if they have worked with a company and if it's a company with offices in many locations, allowing them to specify where the services were rendered.

Security deposit, or collections, or court, but in general don't put expensive furniture in a rental, especially if it has sentimental value.

I agree with the sentiment not to overleverage, so take a look at what your real estate market did in 2008 and see if you are OK with that type of decline again (not saying it will happen, but it's what you call fear-setting).
