Antique chair stolen by tenant value $1800.00

I rented a furnished apt to this gal who stole an Antique chair, which was my Dad's. I'm a retired Counter Terrorism Agent and thought I knew the law well but not so.....the value of the chair is $1800.00 what are my options????
