@Nick Mulligan I originally planned to do FHA but the property I bought was disqualified from the FHA loan because of the proximity of a gas station (FHA requires a certain distance from a gas station to qualify, think it has to be more than 300ft ).

I also am considering running gas to the property and just doing it right, and adding two separate boilers, but that seems very expensive.However I have another friend who said on smaller apartments his tenants dont mind electric baseboard.

That is a side road where they tried to sell the gas station and parcels for commercial development in the past for the corner. 

I was more concerned with unpaid taxes, water bills, gas bills, etc.

It's like I would be wasting gas just circling around the courthouse trying to find a spot.
