Interview the applicant to get a feel for how he/she lives. 

I am currently self managing while we stabilize the building, but when I interviewed PM companies I got numbers of anywhere from 5% of the gross with no lease up fees all the way up to 7.5% of the gross with no lease up fees.

@Pennie HeathIf you're looking into hanging your license just to do personal deals, you should interview local companies about being an investor and minimizing your fees or commission splits with the office.On a related note, you'll have to pay dues to the local board of realtors to gain access to the MLS.

A friend went to Denver, CO interviewed a job wanting to look at a few homes as basis for relocation. 

The contractors sales resps will know lots of contractors and can give you some good options of ones to interview. 

I am in negotiation for a couple of properties up there and want to interview property managers. 

Also, I'd recommend listening to BP and other podcast interviews with successful wholesalers. 

So I pass away the boring hours in a car listening to music, podcasts or audio books which lead me here by chance.I listened to a podcast about a month ago interviewing Tai Lopez, just out of the blue.
