Lot's of fraud out there from false people.A true lender or mortgage broker in the commercial space will ask for liquidity, net worth, equity positions, global cash flow before even saying they can possibly get a commitment lender letter and only after seeing requested docs on a property.Watch out for wolfs in sheep's clothing who promise to do the world but you just have to give them that upfront money.

Non Owner Occupied loans or loans made for investment purposes are not excluded from the protections, they are afforded the protection but Primary gets more of an emphasis.

thank you, Ann Marie  Hi Ann Marie,It is possible but the main emphasis needs to be on establishing the right and trustworthy people on ground that will happily assist.I flipped a few properties while still living in Australia but it took me many sleepless night due to the time zone difference and networking for over 18 months until I found the right people for the job.Michigan and Ohio are 2 great markets.Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Currently, rather than focus on how to leverage what I believe is the inevitable legalization, much of the emphasis from community and civic leaders is on developing the tourist industry, while trying to bring in light-medium industry and better utilize the harbor.

Talk to your lawyer about your specific situation but generally the jurisdiction of your fund will be a natural result of the structure you choose and where you and your investors are located (in some industries it might be focused on a global hot spot for the industry).
