You have actually inspired me to create future projects of my own via the internet and the future success of that will all be thanks to you.Jon, you're firm but fair moderation of the forum is most certainly appreciated, I know that you're hard at work deleting and editing posts to help keep this forum spam free and content filled and its thankless work but you still manage to find time among your every day investing life to do so and you deserve recognition for that my friend.

Basically I cannot call out names because a certain builder somehow still has credibility and some of his subs deserve more respect and recognition than he could EVER hope to rip someone off for.

Another play that would give you some relief and may delay things long enough to be of help  is if you are closing between now and Dec. 31 you have the opportunity to shift the date of recognition of your gain into 2015.  

When I went independent, I thought it would be an issue.Surprisingly, my lack of name recognition or a big office has not been a liability.

They should be given some form of at-a-glance recognition so a newbie knows to possibly hold their opinion at a higher level than some others.

As long as I can think and type with either hands, voice recognition or the tech that Professor Hawking uses, I can make money and if I can't think I won't care if I'm living in a cardboard box.

Maybe, like for me, Id rather walk into a house and be associated with a company that has bought over 70k houses with obvious brand recognition and be able to talk openly and honestly about the sellers issues to see if were a fit; instead of forcing some kind of awkward sales spiel (not saying all non-HomeVestors guys do this, but it is highly prevalent from what Ive seen and not for me)You see the benefit of HomeVestors is different for everyone and I would never tell someone that its a one size fits all box.
