He was sentenced to death yesterday and now the decision only awaits approval from the Supreme Court," defense lawyer Qian Lieyang said after the retrial at the Beijing Higher Court on Tuesday.Yang admitted in court in late March during an earlier session of his retrial that some of the money had been used for bribes, but he did not give details, Qian said.The Beijing Morning Post said Yang was the first member of China's securities industry to be sentenced to death for embezzlement.

Well said... well said...I couldn't agree more with Joshua, the bootcamps are informative I am sure... but you can learn the same stuff from a book and these forums... in fact if you want to send me $5000 ill point you to the posts whenever you want ;)You will learn more just browsing, reading, and participating in these forums than you ever will at any guru session.

Follow them.If you are able to proceed without legal representation you should first attend several court sessions to see how others do it.Even so, around here Magistrates run their little fiefdoms as they please -- athough you can certainly appeal a ruling should you have the time, energy, money and willingness to piss the Magistrate off.

I have the records. there are 8 bm's. two were absent before exeutive session. two left the meeting. totalling four bms at the meeting. one that left was conference called into the meeting and two bms had no idea there was a conference call as they were not called. this was not an emergency meeting and no record was made the next month nor was it discussed. 4 of 8 bms present and one recusing leaves 3 left to vote. this is not a majority to approve is it?
