Though I would strongly suggest being in. a position to be able to hop on a plane to see a property or deal with an issue (even if you have the strongest team assembled). 

If you go forward with it, you do need to assemble that team... just make sure you have some very experienced operators that can balance out your relative inexperience. 

Unless you plan to rely solely on a real estate team that you assemble, it is still important to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can.

I didn't replace cabinets, so not sure about that, although you can save money on cabinets if you buy wholesale and assemble them yourself.
