It's as if they think we are rigid and/or too stupid to adjust and bob & weave with new laws or 'guidance'.First minimally qualified applicant, no additional deposits for service/comfort/emotional support animals, felons are a protective class, etc.  

Of course I recognize that soon I will be forced to take in pets because people are simply having their cats, gerbils and dogs certified as service animals...Hiking the rent by $400? 

That could mean anything from unsafe steps, non functioning or inadequate heating, leaking roof, to a biological hazard such as human or animal waste. 

The end product is a completely different animal.
