We have a growing tech industry (increasing millenial population), popular retirement destination (per Money Magazine #1 in 2020) and a large college town (UW Madison) and government (Capital of WI). 

This article provides data on the reasons why New Yorkers are fleeing urban centers.

Hybrid work, less taxes, more desirable location (50 bars and an ocean within a mile) create an opportunity for New Yorkers to leave expensive crowded living environments for a hybrid living area to match their hybrid work style. 

They also featured me on the front cover and a feature article in BP’s new Wealth Magazine, which is really good by the way.

Maybe it's the New Yorker in me that's skeptical.
