The biggest risk in my opinion is if you have a 5 or 7 year balloon, which is common with commercial loans to LLCs.My lender gave me twenty year amortizations on all three, so I only need to “not default” as you say, and I don’t expect to have my loans called in bad economic times.I had to have enough equity in the second for the third, which required a new appraisal.
