I made my piece here, just had to rant a bit, but I look forward to having a meltdown on the next BBB thread in similar fashion.  

My though at the time was that if I had a partner/contractor with some skin in the game that the project would move along quickly and be done in a quality fashion.

Do it the old fashioned way, like i do, find someone with money and actually buy the house.......if you cant do that.......then get a 9-5.

Is your original guaranty for all of the debts or the corporation or limited in some fashion (ex: pro rata based on equity share)?

Like everything I do in my life, I tracked my poker results in a very detailed fashion.

I used good ol fashioned Craigslist :) I qualified by running background checks, income verification and my 'inner' voice :) The 'inner voice' is mostly used for those you DO NOT want to rent to!

A BIG rehab lender here on BP is correct when he told me that the key in raising money is just plain old fashioned NETWORKING.

I've seen much bootleg work and dealt with it in that fashion....usually footing the bill but it was worth the piece of mind and sleeping at night.

You'll have to reconcile the existing mortgage in some form or fashion during the sale.

My preference is the boring, old fashioned method of saving up cash.
