Hello, I am located in West Lafayette not indy. But I was looking to connect to other investors into the area to help me learn and get a hang of everything. 

I want to set up an LLC for the NY property am am wondering if I can just use a new NJ LLC (cheap easy set up and I can be the Registered agent since I live in NJ) versus having to create an LLC in NY.   

Couple listing options: range pricing, new photos, cancel and re-list, and stage the property.

Starting out, it’s common for new investors to own rentals personally to access better loan terms.You will most likely have to buy it in your personal name and move to LLC later.This post does not create a CPA-Client relationship.

You can also make your place more trouble-free by fixing things up front that are most likely to break (new light fixtures, light bulbs, door locks, etc.).
