I think it's because this one was my only "horror story" to date and it left me with a bad taste.

All I am saying on that is if you want something so bad you can taste it, then don't let others concerns i.e. parents etc. set you off track. 

Would it be in poor taste to try and negotiate a higher split than what may initially be offered?

They might have minimum loan sizes or minimum credit score requirements or the property might be too rural for their tastes etc...

@Michael PlaksAaron indicated in another thread he is either working on becoming a CPA or thinking about it.I was just giving him a taste of CPA life
