There will always be demand in the market (it's not like some covid markets that could disappear as vacation destinations almost entirely over the next decade), and the regulation risk is as near to zero as you can get in this industry so long as you buy in the approved tourist zones (again, compared to some smaller/less mature markets where they could outlaw STRs tomorrow).For short period cash flow there are better options. 

Limited supply of an extremely useful technology = DEMAND.

Places like Tampa, FL, Boise, ID, Asheville, NC, Detroit, MI, and Columbus, OH are seeing growth in tourism and demand, making them great options for STR investments. 

I am looking at the suburbs along 80 and wondering if there is enough single family home renter demand? 

RISD will command a 10-15% MV premium over RCISD, and correspondingly more rental demand.

The tourist high season has arrived, so we'll have plenty of demand to accommodate us.

Develop a team with essential members, focus on moderate property prices and high demand, and start with cosmetic flips.
