Tenants have short attention spans and if you ask them to wait until the weekend, they either forget or find something else to rent.With the type of tenants the property managers put into rentals in my area, I would never allow them to pick tenants for me.

You can't pay a lawyer every time you have a disagreement with your tenant.I would call the tenant and tell them you agree to let them leave by the end of the month and see if that is still their intention (tenants only have an attention span of 5 minutes).
