I'm interested in investing in my native PR in the upcoming year and I was considering the BRRRR method.

Is it possible and does anyone have any experience with buying homes on a reservation? I have a motivated seller who owns the home but this is a first for me. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My husband, an Apprentice Electrician, and I, an entertainment industry professional, are both Los Angeles County natives and total "newbies" to the REI world.

That actually gets me in contact with the owners on the subject about 30% of the time.Also I'm an Austin native and know the market and surrounding areas quite well.

So much disrespect thrown out towards Chicago and specifically the South Side of the city, I hope the numbers will change a few minds.In the words of a local developer I highly respect Leon Walker "the difference between Gentrification and Venture Development is INTENT” http://www.dl3realty.com/venturedevelopmentIf you are not in the City, you may not know there is a tremendous resurgence happening on the South Side of Chicago.As a native of Brooklyn, if you would have told me my neighborhood as a child in the 80s (Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY) would have turned into Million Dollar homes a on every block I would have laughed at you.

@Daniel Lozano the closest one I know of is RIREIG which meets monthly in Warwick.If you were a native Rhode Islander then that might be too far for you, but if you’ve just moved here from out of state, you will probably think it’s pretty close :-)There is also a Fall River group that I have heard good things about, though I have not been myself yet.
