Personally I would apologize to the seller for wasting their time.

If the "SIGN POLICE" call you, be cordial and apologize and tell them that you will take them down right away.

Out of the four properties I have been trying to pull comps on I only have one owner that is willing to give me a dollar amount the other three "have prices in mind but want to see what I'll offer"At this point I am thinking about just thanking them for their time apologizing and explaining I can't find any comparable prices in the area.

He apologized and lowered his price to $4,500.

I offer no apologies to anyone for making a good living finding a need and filling it by using talents I earned on my own without government assistance.
