The country is great for lifestyle and I believe most American (and other foreigners) buy for lifestyle.

I want to know whether it would work legally for me to buy a home and occupy it for 6 months and then relocate for the maximum time of two years and then return to the property a my primary residence. 

I have better luck with posting in the zillow rental section;   rent before you buy, live in a great property while you get yourself ready to finance a great home....Our business model;   protect the buyer or tenant at even our own expense. 

That means your GP team needs a minimum of $300K to invest, more if you buy a bigger or nicer propertyFWIW, SOFR is not a loan you can get.

But I would not consider what the seller needs to make in determining what I'm willing to pay for a property, especially when youre buying a problem like this.

Have you looked at an HML or a loan from a bank to buy it from the seller now?

For example, this investor that I met recently said not to buy properties at tax auction for 100+ different reasons.

But consumers all are on the site for free where real estate agents are constantly hawked to buy leads or participate in what is now a 35-40% referral business for unvetted leads who think they are contacting the listing agent.Their business model has always been flawed.
