Generally speaking though IRS auditors view things very black and white.

I have found a couple discrepancies between the county auditor site and Zillow.

You will want to be sure to inform your insurance that it is a rental now and depending on your location you may need to inform or make a change with the county auditor. 

Lena When I'm considering a property I always go to the county assessor's website (often called auditor or something else) to see what the taxes were and if known, what the taxes WILL be and if any special assessments apply.
