Is there something of value inside they want, such as washing machine money, rob the mail, a crack stash in one of the units, an Ex all drunked up and throwing a fit (???)

Some buyers in the Bay, especially the international buyers are just looking for safe inflation proof places to stash their money and don't even care about cash flow.   

We have a lot of cash stashed up.

I still believe it is the safest surest place to stash money.   

I tried at one time to go down the NPN road and buy tapes.. but it was just so much work and at the time the banks were so dysfunctional and as you probably know the amount of Joker brokers out there was off the charts..

When you were first getting started (before you had that 50k HELOC), did you have a large stash of cash for a rainy day?

The note business is a smaller niche and you don't want to run yourself out of the business by becoming a joker broker...

both of which can be explained away, the scale, as applicant may of wanted to weigh pot to ensure amount, and having multiple baggies, they may have "forgot" where their stash was, and bought another.  

And frankly, carrying all that undertow of people who are jokers and not actual aces is sucking the wind out of my sail.So the question is, what techniques do you guys use in order to find investing partners who are actually serious about partnering with you?

Certainly silver was lifted by the talk that China might buy some silver with some of its currency reserve stash as silver is generally thought to be tightening its overall supply to a precarious condition.
