I may be able to hold some retreats there, too.  

Since you are building several maybe you could market it as a group retreat / family reunion kind of thing... or go for the whole Christmas theme...

I studied interior design and an architecture bridge course in SA, and have always had a passion for small, creative development.Although I have been working as an art director, I am now ready to start the journey of property investment.My goal is to start with raw-land investment or flipping while learning the ropes a bit to ultimately start creating unconventional, eco-friendly and sustainable retreats and or rental properties.I am keen to learn from as many people as possible and share my experience and learning with the community as I go.Lastly, thank you for creating such an inviting environment for a novice to be a part of.

 I'm considering purchasing a property that could be used for events and corporate retreats so it may be a little off the beaten bath but could also be used as a nightly rental or a monthly rental.  

The rooms upstairs would make a perfect teen retreat or man cave!

It is a quiet lakefront retreat in a cozy cove.  

offer the lawn area to be utilized for someone that does goat yoga.....seems to be a new craze....together with having several other str units like yurts or rvs...the goats would mowe the grass and would be another attraction for people staying there.I love win.win

We also have a beautiful golf course property just listed on VRBO and trying to come up with some marketing avenues to to affluent golfers and large family retreats in the USVI.Thinking Facebook page is the next step and look into golf magazines or send direct flyers out somehow.  

We would not want to open the old restaurant but contract with local catering companies to run the bar and food during special events and also offer corporate retreats.

It's actually a preserve and retreat.
