I went to the Oakland Summit last weekend and all speakers mentioned about bigger pockets, I hope to learn and make the connection to same minded people.

We ended up getting a deal through US Bank, so we submitted an offer this weekend.

There is a REIA group that meets in Branson and one in Overland Park Kansas - both would be good groups to join - maybe not to attend the monthly meetings, but to attend the weekend workshops they offer from time to time - well worth the cost of the event and a day spent in either city for a full day of networking and learning.In Kansas City  - there is a full day training workshop coming up on the 17th of September and the 22nd of October at MAREI

This past weekend I got us to look at the REO he found on Zillow, of which I figured might be a deal.

I was just in Knoxville, TN over the weekend and met someone who just bought a property for 40,000 and put 10k into.  

I am learning the terminology and abbreviations and have gone to a weekend seminar.

I just met the superintendent of your school system this past weekend in Narraganset, RI at a wedding.

He asked me to take no commission and then we could put an occupancy agreement in place to allow us to move in to the home that weekend since we had no where to go.
