I've always been naturally frugal and have been a huge proponent of passive income but after months of reading, researching, and listening to the BP podcast, I've built up enough confidence and a tiny bit of knowledge to make it happen. 

First, a tiny housekeeping note: I realize that auto-correct is terrible for making us say things we don't mean, and too I confess my own inability to properly edit my own writing (I read what I think I type, not what I actually type!).
