I do like to add wood (or wood look) touches to my kitchens usually a couple of open shelves similar to the flooring tone and/or some ikea kallax or eckhart or vadholma cubbies.

And just in case you want to shop the paint yourself which I recommend if you want to save the money you are looking at about:10 gallons for walls, if all one color (satin or eggshell) double rolled5 gallons for ceilings, closets (flat) spray2-3 gallon for trim, baseboard, shelving doors, etc. ( semi - gloss) but better off just getting the 5 gallon ...also sprayed.
