I have 3 rehab projects going on now, a small, medium and large one in multiple states pulling me in different directions, I want to complete all 3 projects and sell at least 2 of those this year.I am thinning the herd on rental properties. 

i never herd of anyone getting sick from laminate at least not the home owners.

And the trifecta which is kids are signing up for college in herds.

There are worse problems to have, but we have ended up with more homes than we intended to, and it's the perfect opportunity to cull the herd.

Might not be as much of an issues if you're boilers are creating radiant heat thru water pipes.

One thing I herd but never done it myself is to use a land trust to hide the facts but as I said I do not know much about it.Thanks

Basically it doesn't address your specific question, but it seems that there are 2 likely outcomes.1) As soon as you make a bid the herd mentality kicks in and it is assumed that the property if ok since someone felt confident enough to bid, and then the price quickly skyrockets.2) GSA will not end the auction and will keep extending until they have received a high enough bid that they feel is commensurate with the FMV of the property.
