Electric In-floor heating

Hello everyone, My current rehab project is in need of new flooring and I would like to spend the extra money to install radiant electric in-floor heating. Then, a ceramic tile I have picked out to go over it. I have a fair understanding of the materials/labour costs, I'm left wondering what dollar value is added to the home for this luxury heating (If any)? I have looked around for information regarding ARV but can't seem to find much of anything on this particular heating system. Perhaps there is even a general rule when adding value to a home that may be applicable here but I don't know of any. I plan to put this system in homes in the future so any help is appreciated. Thanks for any responses in advance. You are awesome. Here is a quick example quote.. $10 sq.foot for in-floor heating (materials and labour) x Rehab ceramic sq.foot:1000 =$10,000 Ceramic tile (materials+labour)$6000

Where are you located? how expensive is electric?  We installed this in one room under tile  because we had electric baseboard and wanted the floor space. If you choice is between electric baseboard and under floor electric the underfloor will save you space ,  be more comfortable and generally be better received.   I don't believe it will add to your selling price though it may add to your marketability.

On the other hand if you have a cheaper heat source people like the cheaper source, 9 times out of 10.  In our area electric is always seen as an expensive option even when it isn't, it is perception.
