It's a rapidly appreciating area near an old hospital campus soon to be rebuilt medical office park.

I think one of the first and most important thing for me is to have my credit repaired,, living under $30k per year, and crushed my medical desasters has really wrecked what should be the most basic articles of prosperity. 

Pearland is similar in that there are not any major universities, although there are a couple of hospitals and Pearland is only a 20 minute drive to the medical center in Houston.

The housing stock in Belgrade is fabulous and I've been hearing more and more form my northern and western european friends that they are loving to travel to Belgrade for discounted specialized medical care and/or a generally lovely holiday. 

So Cal has a broad based economy, perfect year round weather, amusement parks, sporting events, universities, world class medical care, etc.

I'm only nearly 5 mos in on my venture but we need to carry the following for our residential care (assisted living)  licensed for 41 beds - but we can hold 36 beds in our current configurationGeneral Liability (We buy through an independent broker - basically covers medical malpractice, any slip/falls etc)Workers CompAnd even though you arent interested - Non owned auto insurance in case staff use their own vehicles to run an errand etc, building insurance for wind/hail etc inc general property liabilityAll of this runs around $33k to 36k a year for us - thats before health insurance for us etc - Work Comp is the most expensive part of that mix.Your best bet is likely not to find the coverage by calling yourself - you'll just waste your time - find a broker that can sell you this insurance - as far as limits - some of the limits are state mandated and will be in the regulations.

@Miles Presha Are we talking about two separate liens; Johnny has an IRS lien and the house also has a medical judgment lien?

Same reason doctors don't (or shouldn't, IMO) sell Vicodin in alley ways... they went to medical school, they don't need to.
