Give them a call and see what service they offer a tenant.As far as what you required to pay back for inhabitable conditions, that depends on your lease or if your on month to month.

If you were making a claim for the fire anyway, then you were already headed down that path, just make sure the insurance adjuster agrees that the home is temp. not inhabitable due to the lack of air conditioning so that you do get the loss of rents, and extra expenses.

., & though Common Law continues to be added to, as well as, does change; as far as I know, Common Law is yet to decree what will be decided between the inhabitants of a Rental, & even for some of the inhabitants have left the Rental, while some inhabitants continue to live in a Rental.
