A few of our distant friends have relied heavily on their PM's to identify rental rates in various neighborhoods, handle tenant screening, collect rent...typical PM duties.

Redfin operates in plenty of markets where it is illegal to do offer rebates.I think we will see though in the not so distant future some lawsuits against Redfin for anti-competitive practices. 

Years from now when you are ready to retire on a huge pile of money, that 75k will be a distant memory:)       It seems to me if you work at this business hard and long enough, you're going to lose some money along the way....just don't make it a habit.:)        Keep doing what you're doing if its working....just make small corections as you go to fine tune your program for you.

The need for real estate agents and brokers will be gone in not to distant future anyway because of technology and amazon.

Lastly, we almost certainly have so high inflation coming our way in the not too distant future.

A distant second concern is if I have any recourse for being misinformed by the lender.

A town you went to college in, where a distant aunt lives, etc.

Most parks are distant entities from my metro location.

Everything I know about economics tells me the US is going to be in a world of hurt in the not too distant future with increase in taxes to pay for entitlement, increase in borrowing to pay for deficits, increase in inflation, decrease in the value of the dollar due to competitiveness, loss of income generating workers due to robotics and AI.
