If you have been in nursing 40 years you have a vast network of doctors and nurses to talk to about r.e. investing etc.

Additionally, being a doctor has very little to do with it.

Frankly, my impression of the appraisal process is this: they glance at some comps, instantly decide what they think the value is, then groom all the numbers to support what they decided, doctoring the drawing for sq ft if need be.

I have had 2 cases this year where ther certificate of insurance has be doctored.

The fact is you can't stay healthy without a doctor unless you know as much as a doctor knows...and it costs a lot of money to know as much as a doctor knows.

@David Krulac  I had an HOA board once deny my tenant a request for a wheelchair ramp even though she submitted doctor's notes about her disability as they said it didn't conform to their HOA rules.  

If your nervous they might be...It's like going into the doctor.
