hello KimI'm newI'm a licensed  gc  in  calif  builder/ investor 30 years experience  in lake arrowhead ca  and high desert my advice , keep this close to you, don't employ realtor at this time , first you should approach, hall of records  search out ownership, physically  so you understand  simple puplic  search example  is he owner, clear title no encumbrances,  you'll see a surveyor plot line and stamped  engineering, print all documents,  then proceed  immediately to  building dept, talk with planing for this specific lot,,   you might just discover  it's small in lot size and or land locked,,,  or it might have a grandfather Claus  now you'll  have your ammunition,  for pursuing,  on a land contract ,,,  beware of  how he purchased  online,, and  here's a fact ,   I have purchased lots  amongst  the feeding  frenzy of  builders who oNE reason or other overlooked, or could not in fact figure out the build,,,,,lastly  my saying  it was min to begin with    best regards  on your  hunt

It would stink to live on the East Coast, get a consulting job on the West Coast and have a 6-hour plane ride every time you had to go into the office.Texas is seeing some pretty strong growth, but it's also immense, so there are places you can go, still be near an airport, and invest for cash flow if that's your thing.The problem with the center of the country is that it runs very red politically.

So one pilot was explaining how he damn near ran out of fuel flying from Scottsdale to Van Nuys and other were posting that they always take off with full fuel.. this guy decided to only tanker 17 gallons and hit heavy headwinds through the Palm spings corridor.. ( if you have ever flown through there its very windy) so he landed with minimal fuel and had to tell ATC he had minimum fuel which is somewhat embarrassing I think.My partner and I always fill up our plane when we land. so when we go the next trip we ALWAYs have full fuel..
