This just happened to my family today, we live at the end of a street and they stole our magnolia trees in the late night before 3am-10pm and sadly I was awake doing hw at that time and heard nothing because I was so focused, even though my room is right next to the scene, the trees are on the side of the house my dog doesn't sleep on so she would've never noticed any suspicious sounds during the act.

You have squatters and theives that look for opportunities on craigslist.This is how i handle it with every vacant deal i post.I mention "Investors call before you stop by , nosy nieghbors are watching the house for me and will get suspicious" This will usually deter those suspectsThanks Sabrina Taylor

I also figure that those hosting also get "paid" in expanding their network in the business and establishing themselves as an authority, which will help their future operations ... very smart business model.If training gets up above a couple hundred, and/or there is significant up selling, then I get suspicious that the host is in the guru education business more so than the REI business, and then I'd run for the hills.

There have been a couple times where the underwriter requires an appraiser to verify atleast one of the units is vacant prior to funding but thats only if the underwriter is suspicious of the borrowers intent to occupy.

If you offer a high amount today and they refuse, I would be a little suspicious on their intentions.
