With people still coming back, (parents that stay in the city they left Katrina for while their children finished high school... people like my mother) i can say that with the distressed home and steadily rising market I see positive growth potential.I am flat broke... but I have been helping my grandparents and living with them during my college years... so i am not this lazy kid who wants to make it over night.

Personally I think its just an excuse for him to stay out of my mothers way for a few hours a day. :) But my Dad would always drag me along as a kid and so I learned quite a bit about home repair and upkeep.

The mobile was still in the name of the mother of the guy who lost the property to the bank (4 degrees of separation; mom, son, bank, guy) and by the way, the mother was deceased (seemingly impossible situation).Anyway, long story short, the WA State DOT accepted this 1 page form from me and the guy and I now have the title, have moved the home to another property (and have it rented for $1,100/month by the way)!
