There is nothing inherently different about the process of working with Section 8 between SFH, small or large multifamily. 

I just bought a house that I could afford, did what I could to create equity and tried to repeat that process when I had an opportunity.

It can be a long process if you don't narrow it down.

At the end of the day, your servicer is there to keep your loan compliant and to process and apply payments.

Consider bringing in an experienced property manager, contractor, or mentor to guide you through the process.

Any legitimate property manager will be able to handle the entire eviction process from start to finish.
