While I do help others find opportunities, I focus primarily on purchasing off-market properties myself.I began my real estate investing journey in 2019, starting with property tax sales (Tax Liens/Deeds), and have since built a strong foundation in identifying and acquiring valuable off-market properties.

You will NEVER acquire enough knowledge piecemeal to be successful.  

Would love to hear the experiences of other people if having received any grant funding for acquiring and or rehabilitating real estate property, and how you were able to do that.Best

If you are looking to acquire the other half, there are ways of doing the transfer that minimize capital gains tax for you mom. 

While you could be granted an exception to use a 12-month lease if the property was acquired mid-year, it doesn't sound like you have an annual lease if you rent on a shorter term basis.  

Hi Omri,If what you want is to acquire some real estate, I would recommend using that equity as a down payment for a property that needs to be rehabbed.
