Broadley shared a story of a successful doctor that ultimately lost his fortune and his lifestyle due to a family that sued him for his secretary’s driving accident that caused the death of two teenaged sisters.

They have even said that they are taking 'his' dogs from her, so you can guess at the level of acrimony here.The teenage daughter called and asked a bunch of questions, including asking for a copy of the lease.

Otherwise, the tenants' teenagers will be taking hour long hot showers.But I digress. 

We did have one massive problem with an inherited tenant whose teenage son trashed the place after they moved out.

I have been interested in real estate since I was a teenager.

I was thinking that if I become an agent, perhaps I will do it when the boys are teenagers and getting ready for college.  

I am looking for any advice on how to prepare for such a career as a teenager; whether it be books to read, articles, ways to get more experience, or tips on skills and habits to develop.

One of the hardest things for me is finding someone in the same age group as I am (teenager, almost adult tho =]) who find passion in being an entrepreneur and/or investing in real estate.

When I first asked someone how the pig compared she told me that a bulldog was like having a toddler, and  a pig was like having the teenage version of that same kid.

I frown upon teenagers buying new cars and financing things just to be "cool"Currently I am renting a 1 bedroom apartment, I was planning on buying out here in the big housing boom but it is leveling off and it very unstable so I am now going to purchase back home in Ontario come november next time I go home for a visit and rent it out.If all goes well I will have 35-45 thousand cash a year in savings for downpayments on properties, I plan to move home in 3-5 years...It was the best decision I ever made in my life, Sure I work 70 hour weeks, But I wake up every morning knowing I am in absoulutly no DEBT and saving everything I can to pursue REI and become able to live off rental property cashflow.
