If the repair will be altering the look and aesthetic of the roof, then probably so.

While there are ways to legally line up a property where ‘Title held in LLC but mortgage in personal name,’ I persoanlly think after the first one you are definitely operating the LLC as an alter-ego, this piercing your corporate veil.

But, I persoanlly feel after the first time it’s clear you are using the LLC as an alter-ego.

The cap is virtually lifted its not unlimited but altered in a way that now drops back to your ability to pay more than the amount you can spend at least in CSprings.

The big kicker which is my pet peeve is it may look like you aren't operating the LLC separately, and its become you "alter-ego." 

Typically, you would think that if you're not doing any CO altering renovations, then the lack of sprinklers would be grandfathered in.

It shows to me that you aren’t running the LLC as a separate business and it’s an alter ego thus piercing your corporate veil.

If lenders start to tighten up then this will obviously effect the market and alter the supply/demand 

That should screw up your corporate veil in my layman’s opinion since it would make the LLC an alter-ego.

Learning how to run an LLC is much more important so you don't lose your protection by comingling assets, alter ego etc.
