Is a permit required to do a small roof repair in San Antonio?

I have a house that I've owned for a couple of years in San Antonio Texas. There is a tree that has limbs that has rubbed a few shingles on the roof. I do not need to do a roof replacement only do a couple of repairs by replacing some shingles in a couple of small areas. The reason why am asking this question is because it is my understanding that San Antonio is targeting sellers/investors that are putting their houses on the market through the MLS. I do plan on selling this house in the near future.

    @Joe S.

    Permit is required only if you will be replacing/repairing more than 50% of the total roof. From what you're describing, it doesn't sound like you'd need to get a permit.
