A valuable lesson from Tim Ferriss in The Four Hour Workweek is to have a plan for what you will do once work becomes optional.

I hate the idea of romanticizing the idea of someone owning a large number of units or doors when someone else could own half as much, make more money, and have a less demanding workweek.
