Many "house hackers" also rent out room/s in their own primary (not just other unit/s).

(Which leads to more stopping and taking notes than it does working... oops).All that being said, It looks like I am trying to be a "house hacker". 

I know one guy doing about $25k/mo gross on a big hacker house in SF Bay Area, but still only nets about $10k/mo in high season after paying market rents for the use of the property, and everything else.. 

I'm a two-time house hacker who's ready to get into the serious stuff.  

I am working with two would-be fourplex buyers right now - both "house hackers" - who simply cannot find anything because it is all mostly overpriced.  

Out of curiosity, why are you looking to market to house hackers?

You can be a "house hacker" and get financing that will include the renovation budget with about 3 1/2 percent.  

For owner occupied/house hackers, you actually get some incentives: including the 3% closing cost (if you qualify) , the ability to bid first, and usually a lower threshold that the banks will accept. 

Be advised: Wordpress sites are easy prey for hackers.
