But as for pure appreciation potential, I’d wager that a good SFH will be a more solid bet than a condo in a tower (different than a condo in a small 2-4 bldg.)

Not sure there.He is in it a couple of weeks, and is now ready to be the Wholesailing King of the World.Sounds like he still doesn't know what hebis talking about, although they teach him investing lingo, so he feels confident.This feels like a pure scam to me, but if anyone has any positive experiences, I'd be excited to hear!

I don't plan to ever sell it as it'll make a great rental when I'm done living in it years from now, but the excellent financial aspect of it's appreciation was pure luck of timing.

If you measure the totality of your investment, mean cash flow, debt reduction, appreciation, rent growth etc you will always make more money in the areas of high demand like DC, Boston, Seattle etc than you will make in a pure cash flow market like you will in the mid west.There is always the possibility of your rate going higher, but thats the trade off of a lower rate with the arm.
