That should allow you to do a purely financial decision based upon numbers and then you can add in your personal needs and desires for cash flow or if you can afford to keep the property and subsidize it for repairs and such then that might be your preference.

You'll also have to have a 4 points inspection (elec, plumbing, hvac and roof) but that is purely a pass or fail inspection, and shouldn't affect rates. % deductible for wind coverage, 2-10%, will also affect the rate.

if you have great credit, solid assets and great income, sure,,, it would be based purely on your financial situation and wouldn't be secured by any properties.Banks prefer to have something to secure a loan with, so an open line of credit will be limited by your credit and ability to pay.
