Assuming you are double closing, which is when you generally use transactional funding, the closing agent/title co. should have specific closing intrusions from the transactional lender that their funds are not to be released to fund the A-B transaction, until the funds are there to fund the B-C transaction, and the B-C transaction is ready to close.

You are certainly entitled to inspect the ENTIRE property before purchase.That said, as Jason stated, I too have, on occassion during an inspection, made some minor drywall intrusions to drywall that was already damaged and would need to be replaced anyways or pulled up carpet, etc to inspect something.
